Surgical Weight Loss Support Group
St. Vincent's East offers support groups for surgical weight loss patients. In monthly meetings, men and women who are considering surgical weight loss surgery, those currently in treatment, and past surgical weight loss patients meet for discussion, support, encouragement and fellowship. Post-op members offer advice and share their experiences in a way that only someone who has "been there" can. We encourage pre-op patients, their family and friends to ask questions and express concerns. Guest speakers provide education and insight and include physicians, nutritionists, long term post-op patients and others.

The support group is for all surgical weight loss patients.
