Your Spiritual Care
The Pastoral Care Department is available to serve the spiritual needs of you and your family members. Catholic and Protestant clergy and lay persons are available to assist you, regardless of faith or creed.

Patient and Visitors are invited to attend mass. Schedules are posted at the entrance to the chapel and Mass is televised on Channel 12. Interdenominational services are held to observe religious holidays throughout the year. An outdoor chapel also is located next to Building Three. Those who visit the Centennial Lodge will find a prayer room there as well.

Advance Directives
Advance directives are documents written prior to serious illness which state your choices for health care. Through advance directives, such as a living will, durable power of attorney for health care, or health care proxy, you can make legally valid decisions about your future medical treatment. You may ask your nurse or the Admitting Department for a copy of the Advance Directives pamphlet. Chaplains are available for more information.

Organ Donation
Organ donations are in seriously short supply, both locally and nationally. Federal regulations now require that the family of each potential donor be informed of their options to donate organs, tissues, or eyes, or to decline to donate. If you and your family members would like to discuss organ donation, ask your doctor or nurse.
