St. Vincent’s Airman Medical Examinations
 Aviation Medical Examiners (AMEs) are private physicians who are trained and authorized by the FAA to perform “airman medical examinations” and to issue medical certificates. They are key to providing medical certifications and ensuring that airmen comply with the medical standards set forth in the Federal Aviation Regulations and that they are medically fit to perform safety-related duties. They also play a vital role in promoting aviation safety through the certification of airmen.
