Travel Vaccinations

When traveling across country or across the globe, St. Vincent's Hospital wants to you to be prepared before your travels. It used to be that all you had to worry about was not drinking the water. But today, travelers should be concerned about illness and diseases that may be lurking abroad.

It is hard to enjoy a vacation or business trip when you are sick from something that you have never been exposed to before. Imagine how bad you will feel after you come home and discover that you could have been vaccinated to protect yourself from getting that strange illness.

St. Vincent's Hospital's Occupational Health Clinic 2 (OHC2) at our Lakewood facility offers immunizations and medications that travelers need before their trip. Dr. Michael Cloyd and his staff have medications in stock that even the Health Department does not routinely keep. These vaccinations will keep the foreign diseases away and help ensure your health while traveling.

Their office is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. You should schedule at least an hour and a half for the visit. Appointments are required. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call (205) 930-2910.
