Established in 1984, Ascension St. Vincent’s Foundation has raised more than $120 million – in partnership with generous donors – to support new programs, education, equipment, technology, and capital expansion across Ascension St. Vincent’s. We also address the special needs of our patients and their family members.

Publications
The Vigil is published biannually for friends and supporters of Ascension St. Vincent’s Foundation. The name references Sisters’ Vigil, the iron and steel sculpture that commemorates the arrival of the first four Daughters of Charity who founded St. Vincent’s Hospital in 1898. A replica of the statue greets visitors at Ascension St. Vincent’s facilities. The name also serves as a reminder of the watchful role of generous individuals, families, corporations, and foundations in supporting our ministry. The vigilance of our donors and benefactors renews the original call to serve and sustains Ascension St. Vincent’s unique commitment to the value of each person as unity of mind, body, and spirit.
