Scarring is drastically reduced. Recovery time is measured in days instead of weeks. And pain and the potential for complications are minimized.
Because the benefits to our patients are so extraordinary, we're constantly expanding our Robotic Surgery and Minimally Invasive Programs with new personnel, new procedures, and now a second robot for cardiovascular surgeries. Cardiovascular surgeons Dr. Clifton Lewis and Dr. John Richardson have completed a combined total of more than 700 robotic procedures. They use the da Vinci robot for many types of cardiovascular surgeries.
